Best coving material?

Hi :) We're currently in the process to choose a coving material but not sure which is the best for the long run.
The guy who's going to do the job said that jablo is the best.
When we went around in shops to buy the material, the one who sells fibre material told us that jablo is weak.
Then we also went to another shop who sells pressed foam material.
Which in your opinion is the best?

Hi For carrara marble style I would probably recommend pearl grey or pebble grey - have a look at the images attached.

Hi, first I would think about drainage. A flat surface will hold the water and you would have the same problems as before. I would slightly raise the back (1 inch should be enough) and have a small overhang at the front so that water won't damage the front of the cupboards. Some marine ply or tanalised timber covered in shed roofing felt should do the job (see image, but angle doesn't need to be as high). Not as good looking as Daisy's roof tiles tho:)

Hi, Extension plans are moving on and now trying to finalise which roof finish is best. We have looked at various different options but wondered if anyone on here had any personal experience or tips. The roof will be slightly slopped. Main house is grey tiled and white render. Extension will be cladding (dark grey or black).

Hi all Just wanted to give a quick update on our coving situation - in case it is ever useful for anybody :) I tried to find a matching coving to do Sarah suggestion but it was not possible. So in the end, some expending foam, hold with masking tape until solid enough. Once cured, cut it to match the coving shape, then used some filler (pollyfila) and sanded. Now that it is painted, it is almost invisible (I did a worse job on the ceiling, filling the cracks after removing the textured wallpaper- that was hell!) Here some progress pictures and final result :) (still need to paint the walls) It will probably be indeed frowned upon as it is probably not the “proper” way to do it, but as a temporary measure for the next 3-4 years (until we can afford our kitchen diner extension, in which this wall will be removed anyway) it will do! ;) Thanks to all for your advices and support - Houzz is so great for this :)
