Comments (38)I really like the idea of G plan round table. I got one myself a few years ago, but paired it with ikea's take on Ghost chair for a more modern look http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/chairs-stools-benches/chairs/tobias-chair-transparent-chrome-plated-art-20115038/ Also I love mid century style, so keep buying Nordlux lamps, like Nordlux Gu10 Bali Metal Dimmable Touch Control Plug In Wall Light, White https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005OJRJ9W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_iLRBybX82QS5T...See MoreWhere can I buy this sofa?
Comments (5)looks like some of Hans J. Wegener sofa's - mid century modern style. there are licenced reproductions and cheaper alternatives. try googling his GE240 sofa, or just "mid century modern sofas"......See MoreDining room dilemma!
Comments (18)Lucy, I like some of the 'feel ' of your room the way it currently is. It appears to have a (your) personality, with some of the quirky, playful choices of furniture ( f.e. your table). Ok, maybe it's a little stark and not quite finished, but it would be a shame to loose this, unless you actually want a showroom home :). I can't give any concrete advice but perhaps you can live with your home a while and get a feel for what you really want and what would fit your home and personality? Give it some time, rather than go for a complete overhaul in one go....See MoreNew house restyle
Comments (41)Looks good :) I don't know whether it fits but could the piano go in the radiator corner (although not right in) facing the other way? I might just try painting the picture frames personally. If you've got any left over paint I'd also just paint the radiators in the wall emulsion and see what you think. I don't know whether this would work structurally plus you may hate them (!) but I feel like a hanging chair could work next to the tv. It would need to be a slimmish one and I'd go for one that doesn't visually feel the space too much...See Moreminnie101
