Hi Niz Nizzy.

This is a three-panel sliding door and we two aluminium systems, including theEDGE which is exclusive to IDSystems and has an ultra slim 24mm intermediate profile. By the looks of the other photos from the project the system is on a triple track that means all three doors can slide.

theEDGE is available in a range of standard colours including Graphite Black and can be selected with stainless steel handles like this one. Fiona - I’ve been looking into replacing some doors with Crittal style and have contacted loads of suppliers and companies. The one that I’ve been most impressed with is the company mentioned above by Lou Valdini - Merlin Windows in Yorkshire. (I’m in the East Midlands). They gave me a competitive quote really quickly and then I got a quote from the fitter mentioned. (They fit across the UK and they link in with Merlin to ensure timings etc). It’s likely that we will go ahead in the next few months. (Just need to convince husband as he prefers chunky timber 😂)

Hi. I have been looking into this as well and the only company that I have found that offers integrated insect screens on sliding and bifold doors is Centor. It looks as though their sliding doors can cover a 4657mm opening and so they could cover your width but I think they only do 2 panels and 1 will be fixed. You may need a combination shade and screen to cover the entire width. Not sure exactly how it would work but the doors look lovely. I am trying to manipulate my budget so that I can incorporate them in my new build!

Hi Company in Eltham SE9. Tollands - man called Bernard. No website and he doesn't turn up in a suit with a briefcase with inflated prices. he has a shop. He will measure, discuss and give you a price. I moved to Broadstairs in Kent last year and had him do our aluminium bifolds and a very large floor to ceiling wide window. I had to get him as prices here were ridiculous. Worth a try maybe?
