need help to select kitchen colour

I am redoing my kitchen dining area. I am changing my flooring, kitchen cabinets, kitchen layout, hob, hood, oven. dish washer.

I have finalised Shaker style mat finish cream colour doors,
I have finalised natural oak colour engineered wood flooring.
I have finalised to with granite work top.

what remains is the splash back , kitchen wall tiles, and colour of worktop.

I want to make my kitchen look modern.
I have my appliances in stainless steel.

please advice.

Hi Nikhil. What's the actual colour of the cream paint so can attempt to find a granite although it is hard online as colours show differently. I'd also keep upstands in the granite and maybe even the splashback for a clean look. I'm not a pro hence take my comments accordingly (!) and I know you didn't ask for layout advice so I hope you don't me saying but I'm not sure if the sink is in the most practical position as you can't stack dishes next to it etc. I'd also check the safety regs for a gas hob so close to a window as it may potentially be dangerous if the window is open. I'm also not sure where the fridge freezer is in relation to the rest of the kitchen?

Find a photo(s) of the people you love or a place that has special memories for you and get that made into a picture about the size of the table. It will be personal and look spectacular. There are plenty of online companies that make photos into pictures. If you don't like canvas prints you can get them put on a wood block or acrylic for a more modern look.

I'm so sorry, but I've only just seen your posts and all your hard work with the mock ups!!! I didn't get notified. Thank you so much this is so helpful!!! Seeing the Photoshop mocks ups makes us realise we don't want to go two tone on the edge cabinets and like the lighter grey. Unfortunately the job hood needs to stay as we can't get it out. We would love to have a modern one added, it's just not doable without taking all the units out. We have painted the window wall which looks fab (well we think so!), picture below. We're considering ammonite or cornforth on the outside cabinets (posts included) and downpipe on the island. We're not 100% convinced the downpipe will work? What do you think? Is there any possibility anyone could use their amazing skills to demonstrate these colours please? outside cupboards ammonite and island downpipe outside cupboards and island ammonite and if anyone can really be bothered the same as above but with cornforth instead of ammonite! Thank you for your time!

Hi Cath, You really have a lot of choice of colour that you could use in these 2 rooms. Can I recommend that you perhaps do some online research on colour consultants that could work with you to find the colour that works for you and your family, rather than get bogged down with looking at pictures online/pinterest/instagram. I'd always keep upstands the same as the work top. A splashback for behind the hob can be a separate entity, such as stainless steel to match your appliances, or just tile, possibly in a different colour ( same range as on wall otherwise depths won't match ) and, also, they can be laid in a different way such as herringbone instead of horizontal

Thank you minnie101. Its light cream paint. Fridge freezer is opposite of Hob layout, if I make sense.
