What brand/ type/ size of wheels are these?

Hi there, wondering what type of wheels are used on the island, what size they are and where you purchased them from. Thanks for your help!

Hi, they were purchased from out local hardware store, sorry I don't have ant more details. Make sure you get good quality, strong ones with brakes. Good luck.

Just to weigh in on the Howdens comments, the key is to make sure you know someone in the trade who can put you forward to them, that way you just get dealt with as a trade using their account. They do have sales on but generally speaking the price doesn't fluctuate much through the year, except when they have their big sale on which is usually October time. I do use Howdens and no, they're not perfect but most of the grumbles I hear are more to with customer service which don't fall in line with the glossy showroom kitchen providers. The quality of the kitchens is very good (25 year warranty iirc) so if you have access to them then do get a quote from them. I think what I would say is that if you go to Howdens, expect a slightly tradesman type relationship (the showrooms are far from impressive) but a key thing is that they hold stock on most items. If you get a damaged door for example, it can be replaced next day, try getting that out of Homebase....... With regard to appliances, we have SMEG in our kitchen and I'd never buy it again. Hobbs been fine, but three new ovens on warranty and whilst it now works fine, the previous two didn't. Previously we had Bosch for everything and it all worked faultlessly, so I can't recommend them enough.

wall mounted taps - best type?

Hi, I spent all day looking at taps , LOL. I’ve learnt ... - Get a good reliable brand because it’s harder to fix a wall mounted tap than a sink tap. - if you plan on tiling your wall then get one with a backing plate so it’s a bit easier to get to to fix (mine is on a stud wall so I can access it easily from the rear should it go wrong!) - not seen any specific with short projection but I found one called Crosswater Kai which has two lengths (inc a short one) but you can often tell from the pics if it looks short as well. I’ve just ordered one which is a mixer tap so it onl has one hot/cold lever. Although the 3 holes look more symmetrical, I prefer just one mixer tap personally. We had a v small cloakroom basin like your sized ones at our last house and a wall tap would have been better as it was hard to get your hands under it. Perhaps search for compact taps or cloakroom basin taps?

I like both suggestions by At No 19 with the additional thought that if you go for an ottoman a round one would tie in with the sideboard design. I'd definitely try to add extra colour and texture to your scheme to give the room interest. Unless your lounge is huge, I think it's both practical and fun to have several smaller pieces that can easily be moved around the room to provide as coffee table and/or extra seating. The space then becomes more flexible and the floor isn't taken up with a large piece of furniture in the centre of it.
