For spaces which do not have UFH which tile is better to use?

For flooring surfaces I generally recommend porcelain tiles, they are more durable and less prone to chip. They are usually more expensive than ceramic but on the long term is worth it.
Always consider budget and traffic on the room. If the floor doesnt have lot of traffic going on, or is going to be covered with rugs and furniture maybe ceramic is a better affordable option

The downside of many natural tiles is the upkeep, sealing them every so often and keeping the limescale off. Porcelain and in some cases ceramic tiles can offer beautiful marble patterns at a fraction of the cost. The main issue is the difference in pattern from tile to tile, if you go for a high quality manufacturer such as Villeroy & Boch, you will get the most convincing "fake" marble effects. Hi I'm in the process of buying a property which has wood effect tiles too in the kitchen and hall. I have opted to have Karndean flooring in my lounge which also opens up to the garden so I didn't want carpet. They come in many styles so maybe have a look at these? I have chosen one around £25per sq m which is the cheapest range. They are basically VInyl planks that get glued to your floor. Easy to clean and you don't have to worry about water warping the planks. Hope his helps

Porcelain is a tough tile which will not crack or break easily. they are very long lasting. vinyl is out dated and just doesn't look good. Your other option should be ceramic tiles. So it should be between ceramic and porcelain. I'd still recommend porcelain but ceramic is cheaper, that's the biggest advantage of ceramic. I bought these porcelain tiles two weeks ago, they look lovely. beautiful hexagon porcelain tiles

Hi, If you haven't found any wood effect porcelain tiles as of yet, consider the castlevetro vogue range...They come in 6 colours (if I remember correctly) ranging from light to dark and does resemble wooden flooring....We've had the vogue beige laid in one of our properties and it does look good and works fantastically with UFH...I will leave a link below. https://www.tiles-direct.com/floor-tiles-c27/vogue-tiles-c1286
