Wall bed in studio

Have a small studio garden flat. Currently using sofa bed that must be folded away each day. How best can I design to install a wall bed to give space on a tight budget?

Came across this link. The plan is based on the "Murphy Bed" which can range from £1500 to £4500!

The reviews seem to endorse the "self-made" idea but you would need to research yourself and decide. The blurb seems to think all can be built for around £235 plus matress. The other alternative is to purchase a Futon which can double up as a chair or sofa depending on the size required and can be purchased online from as little as £95 or refer to Gumtree or e-bay.

Hi Polina Lucky for you we offer exactly what your looking for. A Grand piano like you have would look fantastic against a real traditional Grand looking panelled wall . We could create something Simple but very Dramatic. I'm thinking wall to wall ,floor to ceiling. I think the colour you choose in the decoration of the paneling will determine the impact. Thank you Thomas that's great - very efficient!! As the space has hard floors and walls it looks like your lacking in the soft furnishings side which is giving it the cold - office like - appearance which is sometimes a little uninviting. A rug will help soften the ground placed under a central coffee table. I would then consider adding some layers or textures and colour with a few cushions and some art on the wall above the sofa. Above the desk I would add a few short shelves which I would include a plant which soften interiors instantly and add life. This will also give you some great additional storage. I can also see two small ledges on either side of the room - this is perfect for some statement lighting with a strip of LED lights down either side.
