Might sound crazy but a subtle two tone might work not colour blocking but a gradual subtle shade diff a soft off white blue grey teal on top that will not fight against the very bright white window frames and keeping a small room light.. and then getting to a soft blue grey darker teal colour with a soft graded border. And consider painting the unit soft white with an all surface soft white mat or soft sheen paint. Pop up a large piece B&W family photo or a family picked piece of wall art or something wacky like a giant gold fish on a white background framed in a thin bright orange frame and job done...or look up dark snugs/dens with rich bold colours can work well if done correctly .. good luck..

Yes like most people have said would agree with the painting option. Choose a nice light colour and as already mentioned updating the door handles could give it a whole new modern look. At the end of the day the worst that could happen is that you don't like it and then you can get rid of it but at least you have tried to give it a new lease of life! I can see you have some nice glassware stored in there at the moment so if you are planning to keep this in there why not think about adding some cabinet lighting to make the most of this and have it as a feature in your room as there are a number of cabinet lights you can look at to achieve this effect? Awesome unit! I think it will really add something to the room, I think it works with the sofa as the legs are similar in shape. However, it's a large unit and like Jonathan, I can't see it fitting in to the room unless you use the unit instead of the Besta Units and put the T.V in one of the Cubby Holes. You would obviously need to specify the size for one of the apertures. ( Exactly as Marina had in one of her Renders on your other post )

Yes fascias = doors and drawer fronts and any end panels. Find a local supplier who can supply cut and edged board. That’s the cheapest method. They buy in the board, cut to size, and edge it on specific machinery, then drill in the hinge hole positions. You could look on the Egger and Kronospan websites for colours. Thousands to choose from all at different prices. I wouldn’t put Fablon on the worktop. It will end up getting cut and damaged. Regardless of the fact that you’re supposed to use a chopping board, many don’t and they also place hot saucepans on a worktop which again is something you shouldn’t do. If they do this on Fablon it will just melt it away and then you’ll be left with one huge messy worktop. Either replace the worktops with cheap ones or leave them as they are if they’re not too bad.
