What colour walls and cabinets with these tiles?
Comments (14)hi all, sorry i've been offline for a while. well the cabinets are (mostly!) in. the tiles have arrived. They're from here http://best-tile.co.uk/ I LOVE them! I've been planning moroccan tiles in my home since i first went there about 10 years ago! just a few more bits to finish off before finally deciding a colour scheme. I'll try to add a photo later, i'm a bit busy finishing off my dissertation this month so the kitchen is taking a back seat. Cinderellaslipper i like what youa re saying - it makes sense. i'm not sure if i should take the tiles to be colour matched or try matching to the samples in the shop. the budget is non-existant so i don't want to end up spending loads on sample pots....See MoreNeed help choosing range colour, wall colour and tiles in kitchen
Comments (27)Update - alabaster painted oak units, oak worktop, (curved end units and worktop corners) belfast sink, 1100 stainless steel rangemaster porcelain large high gloss ivory 600x600 floor tiles, ivory grout - please see attached look book just still to decide on shade of sage on walls - deciding between F&B Mizzle, Vert De Terre, Ball Green and Cooking Apple Green... Also metro sub/way tiles on walls - whether to go for a sage tile or cream/white... The dining room area off the kitchen will have oak parquet floor which will follow through from hall and will also be in the lounge but Im thinking of following the wall colour in the kitchen through to the dining room for continuity and potentially painting the chimney brest or wall furthest away from and facing the kitchen a darker green complementary colour... Thoughts please...See Morewhat colour will go with these brown tiles for my bathroom cabinets?!
Comments (13)My twopenneth..... I usually love a good painting update but here I'm definitely with the don't paint Houzzers above. I think the devil is in the detail with this one and you've got the bones of a nice spa feel bathroom space here. Agree you should change the toilet seat to white and consider painting the window frame white too. You could always think about covering the floor with a tile effect vinyl (black and white) for an update there. Complement this with some black and white artwork. The brown tiles will help warm the monochrome look and then like others say its largely about those finishing touches. Some inspiration pics below. The last one is far too cluttered for my taste but gives some idea of how you might tackle some storage, dressing of the room and flooring idea. Good luck...See Morewhat’s happening with bathrooms?? all grey and metro tiles
Comments (99)Hi, the shower was this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brushed-Gold-Bathroom-Shower-Set-Mixer-Tap-8-Square-Head-Top-Spray-Hand-Shower-/383739772939?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292 Not used it yet although the plumber said switching between then is a bit hard as the head drips a bit so? Also the bath filler is very high up but we have a fixed screen to the side and it sits right over the bath waste so doesn't cause an issue as far as we can tell. Tap is lovely https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/383794535361...See MoreA S
