Thank you for the inquiry! The coffee table has a tempered glass top and was purchased at Pottery Barn :)

In the middle of a long drawn out revamp, coffee table relegated to the tip, it absence planned to last unsuitable within the new decor. But I missed it.!!!! And needs must. I discovered that using our old, 'long tall Sally' wooden stool was actually great for my coffee cup and nibbles. Matter of fact it looks rather cool. So I'm on the look out for a twin for my next project. Just need to decide what colour to paint them.

My first thought is the rug is too small. A nice neutral rug big enough to go under the front feet of the sofas will make the space look larger - it really does work. John Lewis have a lovely range of rugs in natural fibres. If the budget is tight Dunelm are good and very on trend. I rather like footstools instead of coffee tables, lovely for putting your feet up after a hard day! They work really well as coffee tables, but best if you use a tray if serving drinks. Laura Ashley have a great range which I think would look really good in your room. The room looks fab and I love the eclectic mix. Good luck!

I'm not sure about either to be honest, sorry. I appreciate the ideas though! I think where i'm struggling is i quite like something gold/marble, i'm just aware I have gone for quite statement pieces so I want everything to effortlessly flow together and look well-styled but not gaudy/mish-mashed. I suppose I know how i want it to feel i.e. luxurious, elegant and feminine rather than how i want it to look, if that makes sense? Thank you! And what’s the link for the fluted side table too? Unfortunately alcove too small for tv as we have a large one! Also not sure what I would put on the other end of the room if I did put my tv in the alcove - room might look too empty in that case? Sorry what do you mean by adding walnut but having diff textures? Always thought walnut wood had the same texture haha but I could be wrong!
