Why not telephone the Estate Agents selling the houses? They may be able to put you in touch with the designer who did the show homes. I did this with bedding I saw in a show apartment a few years ago and was successful in finding out where it was from.

This might help me narrow my search a wee bit. Will look forward to hearing from anyone else who has seen anything a carpet that's anything like the picture!

This has now become an unintentional late night mission! It's hard to find UK ones that are similar in terms of the chunky wood bottom.
