I love everything except the doors. To plain and zero privacy. I like the arch better also.

Assuming the rest of the facade was made over in such a way where this new entrance looks like it fits, I'd say you knocked it out of the park. Well done!

I can't believe the difference this made!

It looks like a million dollar home.

I'm not sure where ATX is (Austin, Texas maybe?) but this is fantastic. Great job.

Was this just a new entry or was the entire house new? It's hard to tell from your gallery page at https://www.houzz.com/projects/2592146/cat-mountain

Amazing job! I love the light fixture you used in the entry. We just used the same fixture for one of our clients. Great job.

I thought I'd come back and like the doors but no. If they slid open sideways they would remind me of the sliding doors at wal-mart LOL. I still like everything else though.

Thanks for all the comments! The new doors don't offer much privacy for this space it's true. But we decided to go with them anyway because this home is so large, about 5500SF, and the floor plan is such that this part of the house is really a small part, and a naturally more public part, of the total. Of course, privacy preferences vary so it's not for everyone. Again, thanks for the discussion! We love it!

Agree with previous poster about no privacy. I hope that is impact resistant glass, otherwise I would be worried about flying glass in a tornado/straight line winds.
