I am working on a similar design -- but where are the incoming water lines and draining for the washer?

You've got your mind made up already, am I right? So mostly for fun I puzzled to get some beds and closets in there, plus 4 somewhat functional ensuites. Room 1 is the master bedroom, with a double sink and shower, plus a decent amount of closet space. Room 2 and 3 for the kids, perhaps one bathroom with a tub. And room 4 could be a guest room or a study.

Hi. This is a tricky one. I suppose you could try using a bulb planter to make holes for new plants. Or use netting of some sort to temporarily cover the bank and plant through that. What plants have you bought? Some fast growing ground cover will ensure the soil is less exposed to erosion and once plant roots are established this will help further. Does the water rise in winter? This may effect what you can grow but I’m sure there are plenty of options. I’ve no idea if a weir would affect the water flow but I think a couple of largish stones or boulders will be sufficient to create a little noise so long as the water can flow around them. Some more plants I think would look lovely are: Gunnera, massive plant with massive leaves, loves being close to water. Cornus Alba ‘Sibirica,’ (red dogwood), fab winter stems. Creeping phlox, ideal for the top of a sunny bank. And there are plenty other plants including those that are commonly found in the wild.

Hi Everyone Update on my channel drain Update on the channel drain The gully seems to be going nowhere. It's more like a plastic, cylindrical cone, which ends and the bottom and sides are just mud and pebbles. I did a little probing and digging and couldn't find any exit or drainage pipe. Please see pics enclosed within. Had a bit of rain this weekend and manually removed all the water pooled up. Not sure what would happen if there was a deluge and I'm not at home KR Mel
