what colour to paint walls

Hi, I have just finished my kitchen and have painted all the walls white but im just not feeling it, i think it looks to bland. I have wallpapered the back wall in grey and copper and have all copper accessories, not quite sure what colour to paint the walls, looking for some ideas, thanks

I quite like the white tbh. I think it it’s the blueish light coming from above where the the washing machine is that makes it look a little drab. Is there a skylight there or different lighting? I do like the wallpaper, possibly paper the washing machine wall the same to give that area some extra interest and warmth. Is the washing machine going to be concealed? Just thinking a continuous run of units would look much neater. If you did want to re paint then I think perhaps just a warmer shade of white but not yellowy. Paint a few testers on large sheets of paper and compare at different times of day.

Hi, i think it was just the light, its actually not blueish and yes there is a sky light above and a window to the right, added a better photo, washing machine is covered. X

Def. agree with painting same scheme throughout (we just did our whole flat in two shades top to bottom, has made it look much bigger and made some irregular spaces flow together). If you want neutral/white, which would go well with the brickwork, then from F&B would say look at White Tie and New White (yellow-based shades) and Dimity, as mentioned. Though brickwork could bring 'too much' of the red in the latter out? Maybe have All White on the ceiling. You would then have to decide what to do with the woodwork: go trad with white (same as ceiling) or go contemporary with a darker shade. Latter possibly more interesting, but more going on (four shades including the brickwork), so furnishing would be trickier to get right.

It's still on their website. They can probably mix it for you. Think it's best to see which shades of blue appeal to you and try some out. If you can get some blue paint swatches, take them home, make your selection and get one or more testers to test it out on the wall. Midnight Navy by Crown looks lovely too. Cashmere popular. Mine being fitted this week. I have chosen real wood worktop and upstand. Plain Glass splashback behind hob and oxide emerald green floor tiles. Just for something different. Walks mmm not sure……something muted. Small kitchen but bright! Ideas… don’t hate me re floor 😳
