Comments (8)All it really needs is something on the walls (love the arch mirror by the way). I love the decor colour you have chosen - it just needs a lift. So symmetrical mirrors would work, but maybe in a darker colour? Artwork is always good, whether a canvas, photos or prints. One large canvas or a gallery wall of photos over the sideboard would look good. You have a mustard yellow throw, so how about using that colour more in the room, say with cushions and artwork? Lots of colours go with that warm grey and I also think black can lift it like your lamp and console table. I agree that the tv is too high (neck ache!) but I also understand the wiring is probably chiselled into the wall, so ripping the stone tiles is probably not an option! I don’t think it will take much to jazz up this lovely room....See MoreStone fireplace/chimney breast in new-build house
Comments (5)Logi, do you have to comment on every post, even if they aren't asking about anything to do with your product. I have just looked at all the latest posts and you have commented on every one. This one is asking about stone and you are trying to flog a bit of metal. Was your marketing brief..."how to alienate potential customers and drive them away"?...See MoreStone fireplace and tan sofa - help me choose the rest please!
Comments (18)The colour of the wall paint will depend on the amount and direction of the sunlight and will change when the artificial light is on and even on a different wall of the same room. I’d go for a cooler greyer tones. However be aware some greys can look greener with different lighting. Choose some samples, paint them on a large piece of paper and hang them in different walls of the room, look at them during the day and evening. You might find out that you like whites and greys with yellow and red undertones more. The blue pieces are very nice and will go very well with your light brown sofa It’s a very nice rug. I like the Middle Eastern style. I’d go for a bit darker blue to go with your blue pieces. https://www.carpetright.co.uk/heriz-oriental-medallion-blue-rug#0 Then you can compliment the rug with more Turkish motif curtains https://www.hillarys.co.uk/inspiration/edgy-geometrics/ https://www.hillarys.co.uk/inspiration/edgy-geometrics/?products=Curtains&fabricgridfilter=true&page=2/...See MoreSJS Interiors
