Mallory is
a stylish ceiling lamp that is perfect both on the front porch, backyard or
maybe in yourkitchen. The lamp consists of a transparent glass with a jute
shaped like a net around the hive, which gives a nice marine feel. This can
also be hung in clusters along with window lamps included in the sameseries. The
height of the lamp is 45.5cm. Diameter 34 cm.

I think your best bet is to pick out a muted but light tile colour and be liberal with it. Think about the odd pop of green or blue or something else radical from the opposite side of the colour wheel to lift the whole scene - just some inexpensive kitchen accessories.

Our house is very cosy. I love coming inside after shutting the hens away at night, locking the doors and feeling warm and cocooned tucked away from the outside world. When I go outside in the evening I often hear owls hooting to each other which is just magical.

Hello Mrs G! I personally love the tile, it really is beautiful and that's why it needs to be highlighted. Having too much of it will drown it so to speak so I would do either one of these 2 options: 1) Leave it on the main floor only. Then on the platform floor and wall, up to the window, I would put a matte grey tile of the exact same colour as the grey in your feature tile. 2) Or put it only on the wall behind the bath up to the ceiling a bit like this: I really think that's your 2 options as otherwise it might be too much. With these I think you'll agree it "frames" the tiles more so they have a real impact. Hope that helps! Anthony

I think three would look more aesthetically pleasing. How about copper? It is very popular at the moment, but still has that lovely country look which would look fab in your kitchen. I also like the enamel look rather like your example, but white would be a little too safe? Any colour would look good as your kitchen is nice and neutral. For something a bit difference Laura Ashley do a double light fitting with a horizontal rod with two lights hanging from it. I’d send you a pic but don’t know how to! It’s quite pricey, but my friend bought a similar one in chrome for £30 from Ikea!
