6 years agoThe darker wood flooring will bring a little warmth into the space while still allowing for a more neutral color scheme. Know that darker wood flooring can show dust if you don't dust mop it often, but I would still use it with the given counter and tile materials you are showing here for the contrast that it will bring. We did an install with the Viscount White granite and it turned out fabulous! I'm sure you will love it too. :) Remember to seal it twice a year.

Comments (12)I would agree with the previous comments and suggest the following; 1. If DIY confident pick a nice masonry paint colour ( fan of Dulux cobblestone) and paint house brick front and side including side of steps. Paint railings. 2. Purchase two/three garden trellis and cut to size, paint with same colour masonry paint and place around step structure. Plant a few evergreen creepers in front to soften and add colour. 3. Dig a planting area perpendicular to house along driveway from trellis to front entrance and plant with a low evergreen hedge such as box hedging or a mix of box with grasses. 4. Repair lawn. 5. Cut and shape plant/hedge at bend in of garden or remove entirely if in bad shape. Budget of £300 - £500. Best of luck!!...See Moreneed help to select kitchen colour
Comments (6)Hi Nikhil. What's the actual colour of the cream paint so can attempt to find a granite although it is hard online as colours show differently. I'd also keep upstands in the granite and maybe even the splashback for a clean look. I'm not a pro hence take my comments accordingly (!) and I know you didn't ask for layout advice so I hope you don't me saying but I'm not sure if the sink is in the most practical position as you can't stack dishes next to it etc. I'd also check the safety regs for a gas hob so close to a window as it may potentially be dangerous if the window is open. 6 years agoIt’s a pretty combination but you have to love aqua and know that you’re going to be using that color in your home. Here are some aqua tiles and your counters with more neutral tiles.

6 years agolast modified: 6 years agoyour best bet is to wait until cabs/flooring and counters are installed before deciding. I like the lighter floor.
here are some other choices
if you want a blue, I'd go w/the Bali from Encore Ceramics. it's beautiful. (and they have a zillion glazes, combos, sizes, shapes,crackle glass,everything..gorgeous tiles)
