I am only available to collect deliveries on weekends or if a day is confirmed before-hand, is it possible to arrange this? I am not concerned if it means waiting longer for delivery.

Hello, Yes you will get contact from the courier via both email and text with a potential delivery date. You can either accept if you can make it or decline if you want to rearrange. You will also get a call 1hr before the driver is there.

Hello mrjohnnyd & Sarah W, You're right to think about overheating. It's a huge consideration for home extensions as skylights in a pitch roof for example, add up 40% more light than vertical windows - so yes, they will generate more heat too. There are a few things you can think about to mitigate solar gain in the hotter months: * Internal/external blinds to prevent solar gain. This is the most pocket friendly option * Opt for a glazing that will reflect UV rays * Choose skylights that will open and close, of course. There are slide open and hinged options, and roof lanterns that have opening panes. It's a good job you'll have vertical windows. As you mentioned you can throw them and your upstairs windows open once summer arrives to create a chimney effect. Help!!! Off-white hex floor tiles clash with white wall tiles/plumbing

Jonathandb1972, I was thinking of going with a grout that is the same colour or lighter than the grey tile. The hex will be grouted in a medium grey. This has already been done in the loo (the hex) and looks great. Neither are grouted in the above picture. Do you think there will still be issues with where the grout lines are if they are the same or lighter than the tile? Also, where the hex tile in the shower meets the grey tile will mainly be covered by the shower's profile. However, the shower only goes up to about 2m, so there will still be a visible "meeting" of tiles above that. My builder is a little concerned about how this will look as he will have to cut small pieces of tile to fill up the edge, which may stain once they start grouting. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best...

Wood at kitchen companies is often expensive (it is where I work). So find some planks yourself. I've used a 45 year old solid oak table top for our bathroom vanity (my husband ate his first sandwiches on). Sanded it down and put some clear laquer on it. There were probably no trees replanted for the table back then, but repurposed is just about as green as sustainably grown.
