I helped my Dad build a fire pit in his garden, he made wooden seats to sit around the metal fire pit with old stone columns for extra seating (unfortunately you can't see the actual fire-pit as behind the stone bench). Lots of stories and fun are had around it until deep into the night. If you have the space it is a great addition to put in! Shannon

Hello Tom, Well whilst we certainly had a lovely Indian summer.. the need for these style kitchens is definitely a practicality suited to the warmer climates or those with an expanse of garden and a penchant for heavy entertaining! ... Unless you have a cooking program on the go! I would be rather keen on Bert & May's new BBQ Currently called the Hot box! available in 2 sizes... A newer version to come out next year... So I'm told.... : ) ) and yes....... I did say.... "Bert.. May I have one? They Sizzle!!! : ) )

Weve had a fire pit dining table for two years. On a positive we have used it a lot for bbqs where everyone cooks their own food to suit. It is very good for this and saves one person being off to the side cooking. Negative is it is very hot, uncomfortably so on your legs, and the smoke..... it’s pretty bad if you are downwind. We typically space out to cook, avoiding downwind spots and then move back in when it is cooling down. We had ours for a great price, but when it needs replacing we will not get the same again. Hope this helps.
