Really need some splashback help please.
Comments (4)I think the kitchen will look great with the updates, the cabinets look good to me. I would however remove the 2 glass fronted ŵall cabinets. "Old hat" but why not grey for the cabinets as it ties in with the blinds in the living room? For the worktop have you also looked at the marble effect Quartz as its classic and should never date. Rather than tiles have an upstand and a splashback for the hob in the Quartz. Or if you want the wow, go for clear glass and have wallpaper underneath or commissioned art or silver leaf etc or even just a tiled splas hack. I also like your choice btw, i wouldn't pay attention to the kitchen company, it's your kitchen! Perhaps continue it down the side of the breakfast bar? have you considered cup handles? I love them and they give a contemporary or classic look to a kitchen. Maybe look at adding just a few green accessories to tie in with the blue?...See MoreCopper splashback help!!
Comments (6)firstly , Are you sure that the cooper tile can not be cut around your sockets ? i'm sure it can be possible to be done , it does take time ,precision, patients and a professional with the right tools to do it, they are called Tile fitters, secondly, choosing a cooper veneer is actually a brilliant idea, comes in many colours designs and materials and cheap to create (it is somethings i can supply and fit.) it would be good idea to glue the veneer on to a mdf board and then measure, cut then install, the right trade people to do or can do are called kitchen fitters or a carpenters,...See MoreGlass splash-back help
Comments (16)Hi Darren, Here are a some images showing some similar finishes you have specified. This is a FB colour on a plain glass - Manor House Grey This is antique bronze mirror below. The below also has the Antique bronze mirror as a large single panel on the wall and also fitted in the Island Niche. The below is FB Blackened - Nice and reflective, and matches the wall colour almost perfectly - looks great with the light and dark tones of the cabinets. This is a plain Bronze mirror - looking completely different to the Antique version. Finally I have one in a Dark Blue - I don't have a better image unfortunately. We did notice it did darken the niche area when it was installed a lot....this may be a contributing factor in your decision... Best of Luck, once you have decided, I'd love to see what you go with....See MoreKitchen splashback help!
Comments (9)I would just put a clear glass splashback behind the hob to protect the wall. Having said that it would have looked better fitted before the upstand as it looks better mounted direct on the worktop. By having a clear glass splashback it will let the wall colour show through so each time you emulsion it will give the effect of that colour through the splashback. The units you have chosen represent a contemporary finish and I think you need to maintain this, so nothing fancy....See More- 8 years ago
