Blinds or Curtains on gable end windows?
Comments (41)Hi Nikki, we went with Thomas Sanderson blinds and originally went with the manual version but they didnt work very well so they upgraded our blinds for free to the battery operated version and they are great. Not 'blackout' as advertised but still pretty good. We paid around £4000 I think but if we were to have paid for the battery blinds it would have been £7500. Wish there was a better option but they seemed to be our only choice that would ensure our view was unobstructed and the room was dark. Hope that helps!...See MoreI want to choose curtains or blinds and a carpet
Comments (4)Lovely choices! It would be helpful to see the room that they will be going into so that we can see how they'll fit and what other furniture they'll be with. They way they are it comes ac Initially, my thought would be to get different pillows for the sofa that would coordinate with the chair to bring a bit more visual activity into the room and toss in your personality. Keep the pillows and try a pillow cover, cover them yourself or simply add pillows that are more you. i.e. a hot spot of color, a print from nature, etc. Or, just leave it without pillows and add a throw. Do you have a rug or carpet that you're currently working with? What direction do the windows look out? Do you have existing pieces of lighting, tables, chairs, etc that you'll be keeping that need to blend with the new?...See MoreCurtains / blinds fabric search

Try to visualise it in your room. Depending what you are trying to achieve (style wise), what you have around it and the size of the window, you could make it work. I have seen it in Roman blinds in a bedroom and it looked lovely...See Morewhat colour curtains shall I go for?
Comments (5)Your bedroom sounds pretty. I think with matching wallpaper and bed cover, why not try some floor to ceiling length white sheers with a white block out blind underneath for privacy. Maybe some silver and white gold and white patterned cushions for the bed....See MoreRo
