What a beautiful pool. I am in the process of picking out a material for my pool patio and I love what you did on this patio. Can you please provide me with the material used and the color? I so appreciate any and all information. Thank you in advance, Lauren

Hi Lauren - we worked with Marmiro Stone in Carlstadt, NJ on this patio, it was a custom marble design.

Hi Looking at all the ideas and colours that have been put forward as well as the furniture you have in place, of all the patterns i think either swaverelle/mill creek jungle jam or the waverly santa maria would sit the best in your room. It is a period property from the look of the windows so a contemporary twist on a traditonal fabric would work just fine. You can have a band of plain fabric at the leading and back edge in a complimentary fabric. Have some cushions made in the curtain fabric to tie it in. If you are keen on having blue which is very popular, look at Sandserson as they have some lovely blue fabrics in a range of blues and patterns that all work well together. Go to their website and search on Blues and a whole range of blue prints are available

I have to disagree, I amn't a fan of scatter cushions as they end out being thrown on the floor or elsewhere in the room every evening, then have to be replaced each morning....pointless! I like to have four pillows, one pair matching the duvet cover, then the second pair in a nice contrast. Then a lovely textured throw at the foot of the bed, something that will look good even when it's rumpled or carelessly draped! Generally speaking, the simpler the pattern the better as you won't get tired of it. Plain white but with a texture is gorgeous on a duvet, with a simple floral or stripe on the second pair of pillows.

By the way, Maria ... I bought the teacups at none other than at a Wilko store (UK)!! They often have some lovely accent items there. Also, at Amazon UK, I purchased a number of very realist flicker battery candles, to cast a gorgeous, romantic evening glow. My three oak furniture pieces were expensive, as was the sofa, but honestly, all the finishing touches are very affordable and were vital in creating the look I was after. I'm so glad you like it. The green wall, (with pink accents), is daring, but I find it very relaxing. As for the fireplace and fire, they were purchased separately. I tracked down the Georgian-style surround on eBay, and the 'electric' fire, from Dimplex. I hope all this is of some use. Jeanette
