artificial grass on flat roof? Yay or Nay?

We have recently had a large single storey extension completed with a fibreglass roof. There are 4 flat roof lights that slide open. The area is 10m wide by 6.5m.
Now it’s finished, I don’t like the look of it. I think it looks ugly. The question is, can I put something on top of it like artificial grass or decking? We have made the structure strong enough to walk on it and extra steels in place to do something in the future.
Has anyone put artificial grass on a fibreglass roof?
Anything else I can do?
