Wood flooring - colours
Comments (6)I don't have any to be honest, solid wood for me! A lot of people recommend them and I can't see them being any less comfortable than a wood floor to be honest. Given you're letting the property it was just a suggestion for durability as unfortunately people do not take the same care that they would in their own home. You could always add a rug to the living space. Or try the engineered wood unless others have alternative suggestions...See MoreNeed Living room colour advice
Comments (7)Your welcome..if it were me I would bring home a couple of samples and see how they work with your sofa etc..if you don't mind me saying seeing as it's a dark room maybe just be careful when putting white on the wall as I find that sometimes it can look a little mucky..good luck with it all....See MoreFlooring ideas?!?!
Comments (2)Hi Lisa, For practicality and a softer, warmer feel, I would recommend vinyl wood effect flooring. There are some amazing products ranging from top of the range Amtico and Karndean, to more budget-friendly ones. The technology is really moving on fast and the look and feel can be very convincing. With your colour scheme you could go for a limed oak, or a cool light wood, or even a slate effect. Add rugs for your living and dining rooms and a runner for the hallway to really up the comfort factor....See Morewhat colour wood floor?

And also if you decide to go for a different colour in the distant future you can always sand it down and re-oil/stain to your heart's content. We hope this helps in your decision making, and please feel free to request some samples from our website www.woodfloors4u.co.uk...See MorePatrina
