We have three fur babies - an English medium haired mog and two naughty but loving oriental kittens. It's like being haunted by poltergeist - everything gets knocked off surfaces, doors open and close by themselves, strange noises fill the nights and you wake covered in scratches. But they are cute, really adorable. Probably won't be buying new curtains for a couple of years though.

Definitely wouldn't mention anything as like everyone has already mentioned interior decoration is always going to be a personal thing and what one person really loves and think looks great in someone else's mind will look horrendous! At the end of the day its their own home and for them to put their own mark on it. After all perhaps for many years they have secretly hated their parents taste of decor and just didn't want to say! With interior decor there isn't any right or wrong if you like it then that's all that matters, not what other people think as its you that's living there!

In the middle of a long drawn out revamp, coffee table relegated to the tip, it absence planned to last unsuitable within the new decor. But I missed it.!!!! And needs must. I discovered that using our old, 'long tall Sally' wooden stool was actually great for my coffee cup and nibbles. Matter of fact it looks rather cool. So I'm on the look out for a twin for my next project. Just need to decide what colour to paint them.

It’s easy to do it yourself. Measure up the size (length, width and depth). If you look online there are companies that will cut to size. Just decide on the density eg soft, firm, very firm. Order it and place it inside your cover. If you don’t want to do it look online for a local upholsterer. This is something they do.
