what backsplash?
Comments (26)We're with Valduff. Shades of purple and plum can really add depth to a chic scheme like yours. Particularly with your gorgeous counter top. Grey is also a good call, as it will coordinate with your kitchen units but allow room to add coloured accessories. It can depend on the light quality in your room- we always recommend grabbing some tester opts in a range of shades. Paint your walls or A4 sheets, and see what the colours look like as the light changes throughout the day....See MoreKitchen backsplash

I'm not a big fan of tiles in the kitchen ever since we installed a splashback which is ever so easy to clean and you have no worry about grout lines. I'd consider a neutral coloured splashback, maybe a greige? or a antique, distressed effect mirror splashback to bounce light....See MoreBacksplash or tile in a kitchen?
Comments (8)Hi Rosie, It's entirely down to personal preference and the style you're going for. A contrasting backsplash can create a nice focal point and add extra interest if you opt for plain tiles. Tiles are always classic though, and you could play with laying patterns and sizes to help make your kitchen feel wider and more spacious. http://www.toppstiles.co.uk/tprod47710/duck-egg-splashback-90.html...See Morekitchen backsplash

They are easy to maintain and there's no grout lines to worry about. You could opt for a light neutral such as stone, light grey or pale blue or a more bolder orange/ teal or yellow. Alternatively, using the same worktop design as a splashback is also very effective in maintaining a modern, sleek look....See MoreArika Schnepp
