Painted brick wall with tiles

I'm renovating a bathroom which has one wall of painted (white) bricks. I would like to keep it (it's above the bath) but also want to tile the other walls with large white tiles (the floor with grey tiles.) I'm worried this will look strange. Any ideas/advice?

Love the brick wall feature, it has an industrial vibe. The rest of the bathroom with white tiling should be fine, but probably choose larger cut tiles not small ones. The small tiles will simulate a brick look and probably make the space look too crowded. But yes, would love a photo to see!

Sorry it’s a thumbs down from me. While I like the brick I think the combination looks both odd and cold- cold because of the colours and odd because the large format square tile is clean and contemporary but the reclaimed brick is busy and industrial. I would rather see this brick with a wood floor.

The houses in the estate where I grew up were in both orientations, some had the sitting rooms at the front, others had them at the back. My mum's house had the sitting room at the back, consequently next to the sitting room window was a door to access the garden. A lot of folks with that orientation changed the door and window for patio doors. Have a Google for Wates Dormy to see pictures of some of the changes, updates and extensions that people have made to theirs - some are quite astonishing.
