The inside of the wall facing your large window would look amazing if you installed a living wall system. These are very easy to install and come in panels which are screwed onto a substrate. You could select plants that would thrive in the heat. This would give you privacy without having to look out onto a solid wall. I found this website which had some good images. http://treebox.co.uk/products/easiwall-green-wall.html http://treebox.co.uk/products/easiwall-green-wall.html...See MoreTraditional front entrance

I do not know if you know Eco Porcelanic Decorative Microcement (Polished Concrete ) , it is a very trendig product that is included more and more in the interior design. This product can be applied on floors and walls, interior or exterior surfaces and also can be applied on furniture, is water resistant and is really amazing in wet rooms. This product gives you the certainty of being able to choose the finish of your surface in a personalized way, with more or less marks, you can even mix with metals to achieve incredible metallic finishes. I think that since you start to design your house from scratch, it would be a good choice for the decoration of your spaces. If the idea of microcement appeals to you, I would like to point out that our Showroom is located in London (Archway, North London) and it will be a pleasure to advise you. You can take a look at our Web Page, fill out the contact form or the Quotation Form in case you wish to receive a Quotacion Esimada to go shuffling possibilities. Whatever you choose, I hope you find the inspiration soon and that you enjoy your space. Thank you very much for the attention. Comments (6)I too have a teeny tiny hall and there isn’t really much you can do, but it can be brightened up with a nice paint job and accessories. I have a small coat rack (3 hooks) in the hall. The stairs I’ve kept clear of pictures as the stairs are so narrow. At the top I’ve a couple of small family pics and a large driftwood heart. My walls are Dulux Egyptian Cotton and the carpet is a stripy one from Crucial Trading. You could put up a nice mirror in the hall, assuming the front door doesn’t bang into it, and maybe another one at the top of the stairs? You are right to stick with paler shades. I know dark shades are in vogue but maybe not where an area has no natural light. It would be grim. Do you have a favourite colour? Palest green, pink or mauve would look good. Plants wouldn’t fare well in a dark area, but there are some fantastic faux ones about that would look good. Here’s a few pics of mine, not the best pics as so little room, I feel your pain!...See MoreMafi International Rugs
