Comments (1)Dulux offer a massive range of mix your own colour choices. We use a lot of dulux paint and find that the shades come out just slightly lighter than those on the cards. Find an actual dulux store, or go to Homebase they mix also. dulux colour charts...See MoreNeed help for my Bathroom colour choices
Comments (3)Catherine, It really depend on the style of your home and your personal tastes here. Black is my immediate thought as it works really well with the colours you mentioned and makes both white and silver look stunning. Black adds definition and a sleekness. To best effect, this would work well with Contemporary or Art Deco style rooms which is why I mentioned the style of the house. Do you have a picture you could upload? If you demand more of a statement then I would recommend Reds/Pinks or to be on trend and a bit more subtly try the Deep Indigo or Blue. I hope it helps and look forward to seeing the design. Feel free to get in touch if you would like more advise. All the best, Gina...See MoreCan i make my bathroom tiles work?
Comments (10)Hi Sam! We have fitted flush plates on textured tiles before. The issue mentioned is basically that, as it isn't flat, there would be small gaps around the flush plate where it doesn't sit flush on the tile. However, it's not really a 'wet' area so doesn't need to be completely sealed. It's not in a shower or a wet room, for example. Every fitter has their own opinion though, I just know I haven't let it influence my designs too much and we design with as much practicality as we do aesthetics - we want our clients to love using their bathroom! Perhaps you could show us the tile? Thanks! - Adam...See Morewhat colour will go with these brown tiles for my bathroom cabinets?!
Comments (13)My twopenneth..... I usually love a good painting update but here I'm definitely with the don't paint Houzzers above. I think the devil is in the detail with this one and you've got the bones of a nice spa feel bathroom space here. Agree you should change the toilet seat to white and consider painting the window frame white too. You could always think about covering the floor with a tile effect vinyl (black and white) for an update there. Complement this with some black and white artwork. The brown tiles will help warm the monochrome look and then like others say its largely about those finishing touches. Some inspiration pics below. The last one is far too cluttered for my taste but gives some idea of how you might tackle some storage, dressing of the room and flooring idea. Good luck...See MoreNoidea
