Urgent help needed..............Stuck

We are putting in a pax wardrobe that is 270mm short of the coving plus another 120mm to get to the ceiling. In other words, we want to fill the gap to the ceiling totaling 390mm.

Anybody know of more Ikea stuff we can stick on top to fill the gap??

Really grateful for any suggestions. Would like to use it for storage, so maybe a cupboard with doors, can pretty much hack anything, big drawers etc

Total Width 3m and depth is 580mm

I’m sure I’ve seen pretty suitcases. Would one or more of them be any good? Beside looking decorative you could fill it with items that are not regularly used.

Hmm a Metod horizontal wall cabinet is 400 high, I wonder if you could leave off the base of the cabinet (to lose the 10mm) and attach it to the top of the Pax somehow instead?

Will have a look at other options

Those tiles are stunning. Now I know you’ve got the paint, but I would have gone paler, simply because the tiles are so beautiful and I wouldn’t want to have anything that detracts from them. if It is too dark, you could always add some of the green to plain white paint and mix well. Make sure you mix enough for the whole area! I’ve done that before and it worked out well. Good luck!

Stick it all on Facebook marketplace - that's what I do 🤣 I have found a single hairpin leg I can buy on ebay 😃 - black or gold! Not sure if brushed gold but the tiles behind will be black. And white and the sink unit will be the light/mid grey to match the floor. Although the sink will have gold fittings,im wondering if the leg could be black as its against a black/white tile and I have a black mirror above the sink? Who knows. I have one on my dining table so going to try it begore buying 🤣 The front depth of the shelf is a 3" but I can make it deeper if needed

You really want to try and avoid having the led reflected in the glass of the sky light. It would be best to put the tape in an aluminium profile and have an opal diffuser so there is no visible LED dotting. I would then mount this on its side and add a L or U shape channel in the same colour as the ledge so it’s conceals the led and profile so you won’t see it in the reflection. Done a quick sketch

This Besta unit is 380 high. Only 400 deep though so it would either have to be set back from the front of the wardrobe or have a gap at the back (but then it’s resting on the top of the wardrobe so probably couldn’t have anything too heavy in it)

Consider using Ikeas own shelf dividers and creating a box to put under your wardrobe for shoes. A pull down rail makes accessing the high up storage easy
