Does this planter have drainage holes or is it water tight?

Hi Kathryn,

This unit is designed for indoor and outdoor use, the unit has no drainage holes and is watertight to a certain degree. I would suggest to use waterproof liner for 100% guarantee. If you are using outside please drill drainage holes and the planter will fill up with water and then water log that plants bedding in them.

I've just had a kitchen fitted with white quartz worktop, I've had drainer grooves put in but wish I didn't. We mainly use the dishwasher and if I'd thought about it would just have bought a dish drainer with a tray underneath, this would have given more usable work surface near the cooker.

Reposition Other Utilities: Sometimes, the cost of moving other utilities or features (like water heaters, other fixtures, etc.) to make a more direct line for drainage may end up being more cost-effective in the long run than complicated plumbing workarounds. Consult with a Specialist: Before making any decisions, it's essential to consult with a plumbing specialist or a contractor experienced in bathroom renovations. They can provide insights specific to your property's layout and potential challenges. Check Regulations and Permissions: Depending on your jurisdiction, changing the layout or adding plumbing might require permits. Ensure you're compliant with local codes and regulations to avoid future issues. Remember that while cost is a factor, ensuring that the solution is durable and reliable is crucial. Cutting corners with plumbing can lead to more significant expenses down the line due to issues like leaks or blockages.

It is worth getting a CCTV drain survey before any extension building to avoid any issues in the future. We found DASA before starting our building work and I could not recommend them more.
