It's called the "Jeffan Gladys Dining Table," but it seems to be discontinued.

Yes they are a good price! I've found a few tables. 2nd is from habitat £495, 1st is an Ercol table designed for John Lewis £499, 3rd is also John Lewis, it has a concrete top but is 160cm in length but dearer at £795. I'm struggling to find anything in cream of a suitable style that would seat 4! there are lots of cross leg and trestle tables around but depends if you want the chair legs to shine! I assume you've looked at made.com already?

Another option would be to have them made, I know that several garden centres/timber yards often have someone creative with wood who would love to make something up. Would I be mad to get rid of my dining table?

Well we’ve had a shift around this morning and completely swopped the dining table and sofa - Minnie101 thank you, my husband loved that idea. So the table and chairs are in the sitting room within the bay window, and the sofa is in the kitchen, overlooking the garden. Here’s some pics. It really works well and I know we will now be using that table more as we love to watch tv whilst eating! I’m not sure the traditional Parker Knoll sofa quite goes, but it’s sooo comfy so it will have to do. The cushions are temporary, as I may get some navy’ish ones instead, but if anyone has seen some nice cushions let me know! As always this Houzz community has been amazingly helpful, and it’s great to get different perspectives. Thank you all very much.

I’m at my desk in the family room and my husband has set up office in the dining room. Teenage son is studying in his bedroom and daughter is home schooling between my husband and I - depending on who has meetings etc and is most available to help. She’s using an ottoman for a desk with footstool to sit on when with me and is at the opposite end of the dining room table when she’s with her dad. My top tip is to clear all work/study/school stuff away at the end of every day to give us our home back again. I put my laptop etc into my rucksack and stash that away in the cupboard and my husband and daughter have a drawer each that I cleared out in the dining room sideboard at the start of lockdown, for all their school and work stuff. When I’m finished working, I open the windows to let all the work vibes out, light a lovely smelling candle and I’m home.
