Best place to fit an ensuite?

Any suggestions for how I can fit an ensuite into this floor plan (sink, toilet, shower). Happy to loose a bedroom, preferably the small one.Main bathroom could have just a shower or shower over bath, or be made smaller.

Hi All - taking on board your comments I have come up with three variations. Of course would love your comments! The distance from vanity to WC in plan 1 is approx 60cm - it could be made a bit more. This falls within the guideline you posted (23inches). More space could be created by making the shower a bit narrower (shown on all 3 plans as 1m wide (39 inches). I don't think there is quite enough space to divide the room and the problem with the idea of the bath right in the middle is that on a practical basis we would have to walk around it on a daily basis to get to the shower! Could quickly get very annoying!

I would do an "open" bathroom (shower/bath + sink, no toilet because the room is too small to have a closed space) in the wall where the box room is, with a wardrobe opposite the bed. I would not do a partition wall between the bathroom and the room because it would make the space so small, but I would build a Crittal screen-looking separation! This would make your room very wow like you want ;) But bear in mind it would still make the room smaller, and the bathroom wouldn't be huge either, but I love these open ensuite :D Feel free to message me if you want more info, I am an interior designer and I can help you with 3D to imagine the space! @tab I’d prefer a shower with glass panel rather than a quad but I think exiting the shower is going to be a squeeze- even more so if there’s a sink there. The bathroom fitter who came to quote was very functional and pipe oriented rather than what would look good! I know that’s important but im struggling to see that it will be a nice space when it’s done.
