Wall colour

HI, I love the french grey kitchen, I presume it's standard french grey,not french pale or mid? what colour are the walls? they compliment it very well

Hi Ellis. Thank you for your query. The cabinets are painted in Little Greene French Grey - 113. Unfortunately, we are not sure what colour are the walls. We hope this helps. Higham Furniture

Thank you, It's so hard to decide on a colour, in your experience is french grey defo a good option or is there other nicer neutrals on the spectrum you would recommend?

Update - alabaster painted oak units, oak worktop, (curved end units and worktop corners) belfast sink, 1100 stainless steel rangemaster porcelain large high gloss ivory 600x600 floor tiles, ivory grout - please see attached look book just still to decide on shade of sage on walls - deciding between F&B Mizzle, Vert De Terre, Ball Green and Cooking Apple Green... Also metro sub/way tiles on walls - whether to go for a sage tile or cream/white... The dining room area off the kitchen will have oak parquet floor which will follow through from hall and will also be in the lounge but Im thinking of following the wall colour in the kitchen through to the dining room for continuity and potentially painting the chimney brest or wall furthest away from and facing the kitchen a darker green complementary colour... Thoughts please

It depends on what else you have in the room, the sofa colours etc. It looks to be a really nice room with some lovely features. Personally, I wouldn't paint it all a blue or a dark colour as East facing rooms can be gloomy on an afternoon. Have a look on instagram, there is a total shift away from dark interiors towards more neutral warmer ones. Not that this matters, but perhaps a year of lockdown has made a difference to what people want to live with.

I agree with the others - go for it! It’s going to look fab! I like the dull greens more than the more foresty greens, I had a bathroom painted that colour many years ago, and I think it’s less likely to go out of fashion. It’s verging on being a dark neutral.

Hi Elis,

French grey is one of the most popular colours from the Little Greene palette. We use it in many of our kitchens as it is very versatile. Other shades to look at would be Gauze (166/165/164) Mid Lead Colour 114 of perhaps Bone China Blue.
