Under sink pullout drawer in kitchen
Comments (14)Drawers/ pullouts are best storage and use of units in a kitchen and with nowadays soft close and push to open available for most good manufacturers it is winner all round. Units do not become heavy and shakey infact if you opt for push to open your units will last far longer as they are being opened correctly I:E not being tugged and pulled in all directions. I am not surprise by the cost dependant on what they are actually providing most kitchen manufacturers now mix their suppliers and you will see blum/hettich/ kesserbommer provided as options for various internal elements ....See MoreKitchen installation - flooring under units?
Comments (1)Hi, Here's a link to a thread with the same question. Interesting read for you, I think. I would agree with floor first. Have you asked your kitchen fitter for his reason to say floor last? https://www.houzz.co.uk/discussions/3661752/floors-before-or-after-fitting-kitchen-units Good luck with your project. It can be stressful. But worth it in the end....See MoreHanging pendants under a roof lantern in kitchen extension

Other options included a light recess around the reveal with powerful LED tape, or surface mounted fittings....See More1930 Semi renovation - kitchen under stairs?
Comments (7)Wow - I can see that you have some lovely ideas - however, if you want to design this sort of renovation yourself, you will need to research building regs to make sure your plan is compliant (as they are mandatory here in UK, not optional) - also I’d suggest you look up fire regs too as you will need to protect your family’s route out in the case of an emergency. Then I’d suggest you research opening sunrooms into the main part of the house that will be under thermal values part of building regs and then look into walkway spaces required in a kitchen and space required infront of an appliance and then look at informal planning guides for distance of table to wall and best equation for choosing the right size tv for the distance away you’ll be seated. Add to that some knowledge of the heat produced by the gas fire and how heat rises and there for it might melt your tv which would be a fire risk. ... Hope I haven’t bored you with all that ! With a little bit of research and some drawing changes - maybe a few more days required . Then it will be lovely AND safe for you and your family !...See MoreiSi Sanitaire
