Carpet colour for grey walls
Comments (22)Joanne, I'm so happy I came across you're post, as I'm having the same dilemma. I have just bought my first house and have painted my living room in cornforth white. I have a similar layout to your living room, with the fireplace and shaker alcove doors. Problem is, I can't find a carpet that compliments the paint. I LOVE the carpet you have chosen, it goes so well. Do you mind me asking where it's from and what shade it is? Thanks, Sarah x...See MoreHalf and half painted walls
Comments (25)Hello elg684, I like painted rads and you could do yours. Best way is to remove it prime with an all round paint like zinsser bullseye 123 which you can spray for a better finish including inside the rad. Then spray the rad a top coat of your choice. Matching the walls is a good way to blend them especially if they are not a beautiful architectural feature like old Victorian style can be. Of course if you don't want to do that you can find covers that are white stylish if plainer, and easier to paint that a colour of your choice.. :))...See MoreLove the modernised paint on woodwork and walls Palazzo Las Vegas
Comments (0)Hi all. i used to go to Vegas quite a bit when I lived in California. stayed at the Palazzo which always had large suites only rooms. I noticed they have now upgraded paint on wall, ceiling and woodwork to A more calmer beautiful white grey blend colour. I would love to recreate the paint colour for my bedroom (dado rails and all), but I have tried a light grey paint (complete guess) but it’s come up very different for me, far too blue for my bedroom, I guess if I painting my ceiling and my door with complementary colours it may help, but still, I want the exact new Palazzo room;) Anyone in the know what the new paint wall/ceiling/door colours could be, I even called the hotel but was run around in circles (I mean how can they not know what they used to paint 3000 rooms in LOL). Thanks everyone and hope you agree that its now so much nicer. Old New...See MorePaint or Stain? Wall to wall or display unit?
Comments (5).If not white, I would paint the wall and shelves the same colour- definitely not the same as beams. You want your possessions to be displayed not the shelves to dominate. Colour would depend on your taste, but I would choose neutrals or 'sludgy' colours....See Moresharitha_rai
