1930s wraparound dilemma

Any ideas how to set out this room? I would have liked a dining table, kitchen island and if possible small cosy seating area but the room is quite narrow and feels like a corridor to the kitchen ... never mind the presence of the pillar! All services are at the kitchen side so I don’t really want to move there will be a slightly vaulted ceiling and skylights across the rear and above the kitchen units. Also any ideas about the wc location to stop it encroaching into the room?
