Front of house colours dillema
im having problems deciding on a colour scheme for the front of the house. i will be painting the front door, garage door and the wood above the garage. I’m getting new windows upstairs but they will be white to match downstairs as I can’t afford to change them all initially. I might get them spray painted at some point.
i know it looks terribly drab now and the garden needs work too, I’m desperate to improve it but I can’t work out how to chose the right colours.
I wanted to choose some farrow and ball colours?
any ideas or advice would be truly appreciated!

Comments (10)I think a grey render would look lovely on your home. If you go for a tone that makes the white pop, you’ll also be able to keep it cleaner for longer where any weather wear won’t show as much. Your brick is from the Yellow-Red Hue Family. Here are a few other suggestions to work along with it.
The top two greyed-greens are from the Green-Yellow Hue Family, paired with the brick they would firm a classic Diad palette. This combo can often be seen in French Towns for front doors, shutters etc. working with tones of brick.
Y502-Y is an NCS colour (Johnstone’s Paint), if you are looking for something with a little drama. It’s from the adjacent Yellow Hue Family. It has a feel of a bronze and would form a rich soft pairing with the brick.
The bottom 3 are also from the Yellow Hue Family. Skimming Stone & Old White echoing the colour of the mortar.
Hardwick White is a beautiful muted colour. In different light it shift more green or more grey. Great for offsetting the greenery & more colourful flowers and blossom of the garden.HU-174252599 thanked Marylee H
