Bathroom tiles and flooring

Can anybody recommend or offer advice on where to find wall tiles similar to these? I have a 30's house and am renovating a bathroom. Thank you in advance for sharing advice / tips. Maggie

These look similar from Porcelain Superstore. Just google Geometric Wall Tiles.

Are the tiles beige tones or grey? The best thing you can do is buy some tester pots and put them next to a sample tile.

Porcelain is a tough tile which will not crack or break easily. they are very long lasting. vinyl is out dated and just doesn't look good. Your other option should be ceramic tiles. So it should be between ceramic and porcelain. I'd still recommend porcelain but ceramic is cheaper, that's the biggest advantage of ceramic. I bought these porcelain tiles two weeks ago, they look lovely. beautiful hexagon porcelain tiles

Agree with the Silicone, however, obviously this should not be between tiles, it goes around the edges to stop water where it's harder to get grout right in, and to stop water ingress under baths, down the edges of baths, at the back of sinks around showers etc. Some of the pics look like you have silicone in between tiles where it should be just grout. Re:- The beading - If you're going to have beading, it has to be right along the stairs not just one part of it. I suspect, that the walls were not quite level, ( they never are ), so to combat this, they've put a bead on, but it needs continuing up the stairs. You also should not be able to see screw heads like that. Looks like round head screws have been used. Wood screws are flat on top and pull in to the wood, then you come along with a little bit of caulk . filler, hid the screw heads and paint. They need to change them, looks terrible.

Thanks so much for all your comments! I knew I wanted a full height feature wall behind the bath but the rest I just couldn't decide. I too like the look of just the shower and bath wall tiled but like @Carolina I really don't like having no tiles round the toilet, and just a couple of tiles behind the sink. So I'm leaning towards having the tiles up to half height around the rest of the bathroom, with full height in the shower and behind the bath. If I'm pleased with the way it turns out I will try to remember to post a pic of the finished room!
