Hi. Do you have a picture of the room? I like your idea to bring in something contemporary and the bed in the picture is very similar to yours. I do think the table would sit better ideally on a hardwood floor or maybe a patterned rug, or even quite a flat weave carpet though. I'd go for a French antique chest of drawers either in a neutral painted finish or the oak. I also quite like the idea of adding a ghost chair but with a throw or cushion so it doesn't look too samey. I quite like this mirror too:)

Hi. Try untothislast website. They're based in London and they make all their furniture out of plywood. Not sure what your budget is but I think they're really reasonable. We bought our dining room table from them and it's great. Look at the bedside cabinets - or if you have a really tight budget you could just put up short shelves as tables which could look good and they are really reasonable. They are made bespoke so you can request a specific size too. Hope this helps!

Hiya, I do like the gold/copper side tables :) but we have soooo many metallics going into the lounge/diner/kitchen that I just wanted something a little less gold in the spare room! ......... ..... Yes, the writing bureau is 100% going in the guest bedroom as that is where it will get used. It will be used for the laptop and paperwork, in a room with a sea view. The guest bedroom will have a double purpose- the view is too beautiful for it only to be used for guests. Also it’s over 20ft long!

Hello - sound like an exciting project and I really hope you find a professional you enjoy. If you are maintaining the structural walls within the apartment then, yes, an interior designer (or interior architect) can help you visualise your options with floor planning and 3D modelling. A designer can also make sure your plans get signed off on by your local council (and your apartment building). I personally give my clients 3 design/floor plan options so they can really have some choices. Maybe ask for something like this when you talk to a professional? Where are you located? I do know quite a few interior architect studios around the uk. My biggest tip would be to trust your gut when hiring someone for your home, talk to several professionals and go with someone you like because you will be spending a lot of time with them in the next few months.
