please help..! need wall and shower ideas
we are currently doing a new bathroom in our home, we have the floor laid and have purchased a vanity, bath and tapware.
i don't feel like the choices have been great but please can i have some ideas on how to make it look it's best i'm stuck on how to tie the tapware, floors and vanity in with the walls.
our vanity is still packaged but ive found a picture of the same one but in a smaller version.
any questions please ask.

3 years agoideally both.. we have plastered the top half to save on tiles, but i can't decide on colours, was thinking either both what or something like this. the tiles are black, grey and white.
yep ok i will upload a pic of the vanity in place asap.

Comments (8)What's the distance between window, and the wall behind the sink? If its big enough, you could possible create a rectangular glass enclosure for the shower where the sink is, up to the window, removing the stud wall and replacing with glass. Put the toilet where the shower is and but the sink on the wall at the bottom. Without knowing the distances of all walls, it would be hard to say. There's a good chance that won't actually fit! Failing that, replace the stud with glass, some fresh tiles and shower. Comments (14)I think the problem is the top line of the lamps and TV are all practically the same height which makes it look harsh and boxy. I'd try something much taller one side of the TV ie an onion light or tall vase with some modern floral/stick arrangement that could drape outwards slightly across the top of the TV, thereby softening and filling the void above it, then something much lower the other side. I couldnt tell you a cost I’m afraid as my husband blocked up the wall, he’s not a professional (we can see the outline on the other side 😁) but it didn’t take too long and was just a case of some stud work, plasterboard and plastering (my husband can plaster too as he did a course years ago to cut down labour costs rather than have tradesmen in)....See MoreBonnie

I wondered if you could continue some of the shiplap. I’ve attached a link with other ideas. For the shower I’d go for something like this Gelato tile from Mandarin stone. Add lots of wood and baskets etc for warmth
