Bare walls!
Comments (7)If you're worried about putting holes in your walls, you could look at our Thistle Magnetic Plaster see roomsmadeforyou.co.uk. It attracts magnets, so you just need to glue magnets onto the back of your picture frames, then you can re-arrange as often as you like. The attraction works through paint or even wallpaper finishes, so will give you future flexibility too....See MorePainting on new plaster

Comments (9)The 'recess' is actually the main entrance: Ive tried to take a photo of it in context.... This is a close up of the stone work by the door. You can see its of poor quality with lots of old lime plaster, new gypsum plaster, bits of cement and all sorts... This is a close up of the stone around the fireplace. It seems more 'finished'. I wander whether in the past it was meant to have been exposed, but then they thought better of it and decided to plaster to the stone arch. (You can see the curve of the white line where the plaster did finish). Maybe the stone work by the door is as good as the stone around the fireplace. Im almost afraid to touch it in case large chunks come out!! (It doesnt look or feel very sound! ;) )...See MoreBare chimney breast - stuck!
Comments (55)Wayfair have fabulous customer service. For example, I bought a garden parasol which wouldn’t open properly as stitching was incorrect. I took photos and contacted them and within hours they apologised and arranged a reimbursement. They asked me to keep or dispose of the parasol. I gave it to my stepson and his wife sorted the stitching and it works perfectly now! I then ordered a different parasol from them and it is lovely. To me, a good company is about after sales customer care, and they have it in bucket loads. I also bought this lovely oak side table for 60 quid! It’s beautifully made and really heavy....See MoreHU-65408373
