Hello, If I was you I would pick some light colour. With the grey you have you could get curtain in yellow, light blue, dusty pink. Why not mix and match colours? If you have some decoration or ornaments in your favourite colours, you could get your curtain in the same one. @john clark I have just bought a walk in shower tray with fixed screen with black profile and support arm for £365 from showertraysuk if you are looking for that rather than over shower bath. Like Katie I got my shower (£160) and exposed trap (£45) for the basin from Victoria Plumb, pop up waste off soak.com (£12.99) taps very similar to Katie but with a rounded spout again off ebay (£65) I've not yet fitted my bathroom but I hope it looks as good as yours Katie!!

Hi. What colour are your ŵalls? I might go a chalky white with the shelves the same colour. Can your fire surround be painted? If so, would you consider orange? If not an orange mirror over the top or buy one you can paint. For the bed I'd add a grey'ish sheepskin throw, a couple of cushions in the bed colour, one with texture and one which you can add some buttons to, plus a geometric cushion in a larger or smaller scale than the bedlinen with some orange in. If you have room I'd add little shelves either side of the bed and add orange anglepoise lights. If not, then add one on the chest of drawers ( but I might paint that then). Over the bed 3 scandi style prints. I've found this one. It is quite formal, but by hanging your pictures in a less orderly way, more ramshackle than perfection, might help. more paintings, more photo frames, more personal. if you always have symmetricallly placed things then it will automatically look formal, try being less symmetrical! the room also perhaps lacks some other textures, try something fluffy ( not my normal go to phrase), a couple more cushions in a non- co-ordinated co-ordinate - complicated huh?...something like a woolly burnt orange in a different shape, rectangular or round, even a velvet. it is a lovely room and well considered but often when people design a room they miss tiny details. you are a stones throw away from perfection. please get in touch if you are in the glasgow area and need a wee help finding the perfect thing - always happy to help
