Artwork assistance please

Hello. Would like any idea of a big canvas or framed artwork over the table. Table will be waited white & the surface will remain wood. I will be moving the existing McCubbins to make space for the new print. Would appreciate your ideas & also where to purchase something that will look good in that space which is the entrance area.

Depends on your budget, original art can be expensive. For prints I’ve used King & Mcgaw who sell framed prints in thousands of styles. They do the classics right up to pop and contemporary. Framed prints start at £130. At the cheaper end Etsy can be a good place to look.

A blood red would look good. Or a grey that looks like it's raw or a colour. Like maybe a mustard yellow or mid blue. Anything your favouring? Maybe something from your art work? Can't see it on my mobile phone right now. Or I was originally going to say black but you have a lot in the space already. We have a lot of exposed steel in my house and we didn't need to fireproof anything here in Sydney, AU. But it was painted a naval grey. I think you can see it around the stairs. This image was taken the day we moved in so looking very empty :)

Console table mirror or artwork and what size please?

Hello Crittee I agree with Sort our Stuff - The centre of the mirror should be positioned at eye level. As people's height varies, I have always had them installed for clients so the centre of the mirror is 1.5mts from the floor. Sometimes on a console table it looks best to have it slightly closer to the table. Here's a few interesting ideas from West Elm. What is the length of your console? If it's around 100cm to 120cm then a 76cm mirror would work. I''d prefer a group of mirrors like this below. The gold frames would work well with your timber work. Maybe your lamp is a little small for this table and a group of vases or ceramics would look better. Or add a round mirror like these two examples not rectangular. Plus add a collection of vases or ceramics if you like a splash of colour as a highlight

In the world of art always make sure you like what you buy. If you think of art as an investment, it could be a sour experience. Love the artwork you acquire. There will be no regrets later. The following works went at different price levels, prices in random order. One was around £5k, another on the £10k and a third one for just under £20k. Have fun guessing. All of them good South American artists.

Just being doing some more research regarding art and prints oh Houzz as i'm an artist myself with my own silkscreen print studio and looking to get my work out there and adopted my more people. I've been making work by hand using various experimental processes developed from the basic silkscreen process for around twelve years now mainly in the abstract / geometric genre. My love of of art came from album cover art originally. I have only just set up my account on here so its very new and i'm just getting to grips with how everything works. I have started to add a few samples of what i do on my profile and have some work available to buy via my own website. Not sure if i'm allowed to add links or not on these posts so do will avoid doing so for now. I also take on commissions occasionally. Thank you. Possibly a framed poster. & yes I am looking at this rug for that area. (See attached) Any suggestions of a print to use from urbanroad.com.au - would be helpful. So many nice ones to choose. I was looking at the one below but open to other suggestions. Thank you.

The choice of artwork is very much a personal thing and if you like it then it’s the right choice.
