Are you sure you have the measurements correct. That's around 300 Feet long by 45 feet - The size of a football pitch! That being the right size, you'd need to get an architect on board, presumably there are some windows there etc, you can't make suggestions until you know the basics - that starts with plumbing and drains., these will dictate where you can put the rooms.

Hi Jay, we agree that a golden oak could clash with your walnut worktop. But think you could still go for an oak with lighter or ashen tones. The shades below are understated so would be great for flowing through multiple rooms too. And of course, as they're lighter floors they'd help to keep your spaces feeling nice and open. Hi Subedi, May I ask what exactly is your project? The picture is for the existing plans, right? So at the moment there is only bedrooms and bathroom. I understand the desperation to get started, especially when you feel you've had a long time to think plans through.....but I would be cautious. In my experience some builders are 'yes men' they'll just go with whatever you suggest but don't always have your best interests at heart. Take enough time to sit on each decision for a few days/weeks...let it percolate as my dad says. We are desperate to dive in with our extension (been here 5 months) but even when we're sure we've made a decision some days later we may have a rethink so I'm glad it is going at the pace it is. In a desperate bid to make an instant impact when we first moved in we did some hedge trimming out the front....and have regretted it. Should have lived with what we thought was hideous until we were over the trauma of moving and able to judge more sensibly ;-/
