Where is the canvas cover on the pergola from.

I'm looking for something similar, and see you are in Dane County. I'm in Iowa county. I prefer open pergolas, but this would add a convenience which could be altered, as opposed to a permanent roof.

The retractable canvas cover was from Gallagher Tent & Awning in Madison. Great system. Please let me know if you have any additonal questions. Randy

Tom, your question made me realised that, although we have lots of paintings and posters around the house, only one of them is on canvas. I only have photos of it in the kitchen where it stayed for about 8 months next to my bike until one of the cats sprayed on the frame (!!!) and hubby and I got off our back sides and finally hung it. It's now in our bedroom above the bed and looks fab there; unfortunately, to take a photo of it would mean I have to make the bed and that's not happening today, so all you get is the below :)))

Hi Amanda you have a big enough garden to rearrange everything,what about putting the shed on the right hand side of the lounge patio door side as you can get a shed made to fit or have some one build one for that space for bikes and tools etc. You could have a lovely size patio going from the kitchen straight across and leading to the lounge area, A patio path leading down to the lower part of the garden with areas to sit and have a canopy for the kids to play under made from timber or metal which are reasonable to buy as a kit form. You could have some raised beds plus a planting area or rock feature you could have a wall with a water feature it all depends on your budget. I am at home tomorrow i will try and spend an hour and do a quick 3d design for you to give you more ideas Kind regards dean.

Hi Rachel, Sorry for the late reply again, full day in the garden..🤷‍♂️ gotta make the most of the weather! Thank you for this design, I really like your presentation and it does encourage me to ‘have a go’ with the art work, although I don’t think I’ll be posting any of my efforts on here! I wish I also shared your enthusiasm about growing green fingers, but I will try and I’m quite determine to give it a go. Thank you so much for all your ideas and designs over the last few days.. it is really quite humbling the help and enthusiasm from all on here, especially in these days of unprecedented and bizarre circumstances. It has also given me a boost and of course something to focus on whilst on lockdown (I’d never would have had the time/or the weather to have launched myself into this in normal times!) Hopefully I’ll be able to come back to you with some early stage pics of the garden and some design ideas that we’ve taken up. You can get table tennis tables which convert to dining tables, I suppose the key thing is exactly how big the concrete area is as to whether there’s enough room around it? I’m not sure how the basketball could work. The nets obviously have a backing board and are very high whereas there are various regulations around pergola heights depending on distance from boundary and whether you’re in a conservation area or listed building etc. Assuming your children use the basketball net (?!) you could use much lower nets but then where does the dining table go?
