What would you do with the end of this garden?

We moved in last summer, half of the back is cemented, the other half has black stuff covering it. We want to have a cosy seating area but are unsure where to place it and what to do with the rest of the space. Our children love the astro. It is just the end we need to configure. There is a patio on the other side of the grass where we have a garden dining area.
It is approx 28m across. Any ideas how we can make this work with ideas we could do ourselves as we will be on a budget.
