Where is the dining table and sofa from?

I have a similar extension and would be very interested to know where the owners got their dining table/chairs and sofa from please. Many thanks in advance.

Hi. It's difficult to do a floor plan without knowing what you want in there however my dining room is 17' deep but with built in cabinets either side off the fire bringing it to just under 15'. You should have plenty of room for up to a 8' rectangular table in the centre of the room. Have console tables or small cabinets either side of the LHS window or a long sideboard (not knowing height of window). Add a small sofa in the bay. You could then have an accent chair in the bottom right corner with a lamp or a small sideboard or whatever. The best thing to do is buy a pad of large cheap paper or use newspaper and cut out templates for everything. That way you can see if you can walk around everything. I'd do the same for the kitchen as you should be able to fit a small table in there even if it's just a bistro.

Hi Christian, Firstly, what a fantastic space you have created, with lots of light from the large windows and a fabulous kitchen/relaxing area, I love your sofa. I note that Beano kindly recommended Go Modern and we would love to help you choose some furniture for your amazing space. I see that you are thinking of a glass table, but larger than the one you already have and some chairs to go with it, as well as a rug, a couple of armchairs and a coffee table. I think the glass dining table that you are looking at is really nice and a good size for the space, but I wondered if you had considered a ceramic table top as this might also work for you. Ceramic is a new finish in a variety of colours which is smooth to the touch and looks and feels just like marble, but is incredibly hard-wearing and perfect for families or entertaining. The Art Dining Table from Bonaldo, designed by the famous Gino Carollo is a great example as it can also be enhanced by matching inserts in the legs. Regarding dining chairs we offer a huge range . But if you’re looking for some really colourful dining chairs – how about these ? The Bonaldo Bernedetta designed by Dondoli e Pocci We also have a great selection of rugs from top names like Missoni Home and Nani Marquina Armchair wise you might want to try something completely different like the Sacco from Zanotta – they are incredibly comfortable ! I’d echo the colours from the kitchen, for a simple,cohesive look. Also blends in well with the view outside too ! Then you can add bright or muted tones in your cushions etc to suit your mood or the seasons ( as cushion covers are quick to change and easy to store)

I wouldn’t be able to watch the tv from there, even with my glasses! It looks a long way from the sofa. I would move the tv to the wall on the right of the patio doors, possibly mounted on an extending arm so you can angle it to suit the viewers. Do t have it too high. The sofa can be turned 90 degrees to face that wall. The dining table can then go in the nook. You might need to move / remove the blue chairs.
