Need help for my bedroom. I don't know where to start!
Comments (12)Hi, I agree with Nancy a white wooden bed would be great in your bedroom especially as you have painted your door white and your skirting is white also, or alternatively a darker grey fabric headboard would also be stunning with white bedding.. Wall colour is a very personal choice but i would recommend a light grey by The little Greene company No. 224 (INOX) i think it would work well with your existing patten and will not be to over powering in the room. See link: http://www.littlegreene.com/paint/colour/grey-paint-colours/inox-224 I would re-sintall the fireplace if you can as would bring back that classic look you are going for, keeping a white surround or shelf would also keep the room feeling light and airy. Pop some frames or artwork up on the walls behind the bed and maybe a mirror about the fireplace (if you re-install) and i think you will have a very stunning bedroom. I hope this is helpful, please email me if you would like to chat. Peach x...See MoreDeco bedroom- wardrobe ideas
Comments (23)Hi Jo. Love your scheme I think it will look gorgeous! Personally I think a bit of real wood would look great against the blue and add a natural element (need to be a bit careful against the pink though!). I saw this pair of beauties in a charity shop, probably not quite right but I think it would be worth following your instincts and holding out for what you wanted rather than going for second best. Everyone is in such a hurry to have everything finished and perfect immediately but a house, style and furniture evolve over time, so if you can be patient and deal with clothes elsewhere for a bit you may get your dream cupboards! Good luck and happy hunting...See MoreHelp! Lake condo bedroom needs help!
Comments (3)Hi Kathy, loving the blue upholstery on your bed. Very coastal and calming. A great focal point and start to what you trying to achieve [and the dresser too!] You have some great ideas. - have you thought of pendants by either side of the bed instead or just stick to your wall sconces [will give you much lighter / cosier feel]_black string = not bound to finish choices for the lighting body? [you could still use wall sconces - sconces also can go above the dresser [you have lots of options on mixing & matching] - you can relocate the pendant where the door is - where the fan is here [just close it off] - for walls, I would go for breezy/ coastal blue paint to add some life here or sand colour textured wallpaper - start with wall first & the rest will follow naturally and you will expand on with great confidence Message me if you are stuck or need pointing in the right direction. Comments (4)If I was selling, I’d leave as It is and let the buyer decide what the want rather than spending time and money plumbing. If renting I think I’d leave as it is. How big is the smallest room? Are people likely to see the house as 3 bed+ office. If there’s 4 good size bedrooms I think an en-suite would be more desirable. It depends on your market really!...See MoreJikoni Interiors
