Re-decorate front of house

We have done lots of work to the back of our house since buying it and inside. Now it’s time to finish the front. We've extended the drive as our cars always seem to be the wrong way round for getting out in the morning. We plan to remove the porch to better reveal the bay, replace the bay with new white upvc bay windows, repaint the front and put in a proper front door in a 1920s/30s style. We’ll eventually change the windows upstairs to be white upvc but running out of money!!
How can we make this pebble-dashed exterior look ok, what colour door should we have? Any other suggestions or thoughts?
